Welcome, Rachel Maynard

Rachel Maynard

Girls on the Run New Hampshire is excited to have Rachel Maynard joining our staff as Program Coordinator!

Rachel loves Girls on the Run for its ability to instill confidence, kindness, and strength in its runners. After being a GOTR volunteer coach in Manchester for 3 years, she jumped at the chance to be a permanent member of the team as the Program Coordinator.

Prior to Girls on the Run, Rachel earned her teaching degree from the University of Maine at Farmington where she also ran cross-country. Rachel then taught early elementary at Catholic schools in Maine and New Hampshire for the next 9 years. Rachel reflects fondly on the positive impact that past teachers and coaches had on her upbringing and she is looking forward to fostering the same love for teamwork, resilience, and FUN in the girls that she works with at Girls on the Run.

Other than teaching and running, Rachel also loves spending time with her family, spoiling her two cats (Louie and Betty), developing a green-thumb in her new garden, going on bike rides with her husband, and being adventurous in the kitchen. She is so grateful to be a part of Girls on the Run and can’t wait to share its incredible mission with runners, coaches, and volunteers as program coordinator!
