What's your GOTR name?

How many seasons have you coached?

This is my 1st season!
 

What site/school do you coach at?

Grantham Recreation
 

What is your day job?

Grantham Recreation Director
 

What's your favorite part about coaching?

My favorite part of coaching is meeting each girl where she is and watching her realize her potential. It's fun to witness the girls meeting (and exceeding) their own expectations! 
 

How did you first get involved with GOTR?

I am the Recreation Director in Grantham. I have heard about Girls on the Run for years and always wanted to bring a program to our town. After a few false starts, and a lot of help from everyone at the Girls on the Run NH headquarters, the starts aligned and we just started!
 

What's your favorite GOTR memory?

As a brand new coach in a brand new program, I am looking forward to many years of making memories with GOTR.
 

What non-GOTR activities do you enjoy?

I enjoy skiing, boating, working out and running!
 

What's your favorite energy award?

The Surfer
 

What's your favorite GOTR lesson? Why?

I'm not sure yet, but I am excited to find out as we progress through the season together as a team.
 

More about Coach Emily:

My favorite food is tacos. I love summer in NH, preferably on or near a lake. I have 3 daughters who are constantly on the go with sports and activities. I don't get to travel much unless it is to a ski race, a field hockey or lacrosse game, or a gymnastics meet. So my favorite destination is wherever I get to see them do what makes them happy whether it be on the field, the mountain, or in the gym!
 
I played field hockey at the University of Iowa. I got to meet Caitlin Clark last year at an event for athletic alums.
