What's your favorite part about coaching?

The girls!! I love seeing their confidence in themselves grow throughout the season and how proud they are when they complete the 5k.

How did you first get involved with GOTR?

I had heard of the organization through the school where I teach and googled it for more information. I knew that I wanted to get involved. I started coaching even before my daughter was old enough to participate!

What's your favorite GOTR memory?

The first season I coached the 5k was on my birthday. The team organized cupcakes at the finish and surprised me with ice cream cake at the park when we returned back to Brentwood.

What other activities do you enjoy?

I’m training for my first marathon, I love to read and spend time with my family. I’m also a competitive tap dancer.

What's your favorite energy award?

What's your favorite GOTR lesson? Why?

I’ve always like when we talk about communicating. I have heard from countless girls even my own daughter that they have used, “I feel…, when you….., because…, I would like for you to…”
